Doctors
Dr. Dana K Juillerat , DVM, M.S.
| Dr. Dana K. Juillerat, owner of Tri-County Animal Hospital, pledges to provide the highest quality care available for our current and future patients. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 2003. Dr. Juillerat has been in the veterinary field since 1985, first as a veterinary technician, then as a hospital director. He is a current member of the TCVMA, FVMA, AVMA, AAHA and board member of the St. Lucie County Humane Society. He is also Chair of the Westwood High School Veterinary Assisting Academy. Dr. Juillerat has recently received the FVMA Gold Star Award for his dedication to our community. CONGRATULATIONS DR. JUILLERAT!!! |

Dr. Annette M Sysel , D.V.M., M.S.

Dr. Sysel graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1991 and has a special interest in equine surgery and general feline medicine. She completed a one year internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College and a three year surgical residency at Virginia Polytechnical Institute. Dr. Sysel has also had the exciting opportunity to work with many large felines, including tigers and cougars. She is a member of the TCVMA, FVMA, AVMA, AAFP, and AAEP. Dr. Sysel is also now certified in Vet-Stem Regenerative Cell Therapy. |

Dr. John N Stein , D.V.M.

TCAH welcomes Dr. Stein back to Fort Pierce after 2 years in Maine. He has been practicing in Florida since 1973. Dr. Stein is a current member of the AVMA (visit AVMA in our "Links" section). He is also the Vice President of the Treasure Coast Veterinary Medical Association. His special interests in veterinary medicine are radiology and outpatient services. He enjoys surf fishing for sharks and spending time with his tabby cat, Harry Lime. His comical personality keeps the TCAH staff either on their toes or laughing hysterically. |

Dr. Matthew D Wallace , D.V.M. Dr. Wallace joined Tri County Animal Hospital in June 2006 from the University of Florida. He is originally from a small town in Wisconsin. His menagerie includes seven cats, two dogs, a lizard and several fish (who serve to entertain the cats). His special interests include exotic medicine in reptiles, rabbits, and ferrets, and alternative medicines such as acupuncture. Dr. Wallace is also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He is a member of the AVMA, FVMA, and TCVMA. |  View |
Kelly Alderman DVM
Management
Mrs. Carrol Frischkorn | Carrol is a very compassionate individual who loves creatures great and small. She volunteers a lot of time with our local shelter in hopes that all the beautiful animals housed there find loving, permanent homes. She adopted four dogs and one cat from our local shelter, all of whom have special needs. Her vast experience in accounting and Human Resources make her a perfect fit as our Hospital Aministrator. |  View |
Melissa Rock
| Having worked for veterinarians for over 17 years, Melissa's smile and cheery voice put clients and patients at ease. She has a menagerie at home and helps pets in need when her schedule and space allows. Her management knowledge as well as her charasmatic and charming approach with staff gives her an edge in being our hospital director. |

Ms. Lisa Palumbo

Lisa is our inventory manager. She has been employed by TCAH for 20 years and has gained a thorough knowledge of medical products, therefore is well suited for her position. When asked how she likes her job, Lisa said, "I am extremely happy working at Tri County Animal Hosital and enjoy the different personalities of the staff. I think our staff is excellent and everyone works as a team." She has a dog named "Copper" who has been with her for many years. |

Misty Fortner
Misty brings over 9 years of veterinary experience to the TCAH team. She has a dog named Chase Buckshot and a special interest in reptiles and birds. Her excellent work ethic and friendly smile make her a shining star. She currently oversees all surgical staff and procedures. |

Maria Belmontes

Maria is currently a part of our surgical team. After training in all other areas of the hospital, she has joined a very interesting area of the hospital. She assists in surgery with medications, intubation, and monitoring patients. Maria is a graduate of Fort Pierce Westwood High School Veterinary Assisting Acadamy. |

Ashley Robertson Ashley has grown up around animals all her life. She is an outstanding employee and gets the WORK DONE! She has one beautiful little girl named Layney. She has a possitive attitude and is always there to brighten up the day. Currently, Ashley is cross training with the surgical team in learning to become an accompolished surgical technician.

Mrs. Shelia McMahan

Shelia has been a very important part of the TCAH team since 2003. Her love for animals and tender personality put all pets at ease while in the examination room. She fosters many pets in need from lizards to dogs and cats. She owns 2 English Bulldogs, two cats, a turtle and four lizards. Sheila currently oversees all Exam Room Technicians. |

Amanda Skaggs
Miss Angel Cordeiro
| Angel is an Exam Room Technician and is currently attending Westwood High School's veterinary assistant program. She was born and raised in Fort Pierce. Her mother owns a 15 acre farm in North Florida with a vast array of animals from exotic cats to farm animals. She has a pitbull named "Goober" who lives on her mom's farm so she has LOTS of room to run. She has aspirations to become a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. |

Shaina Etheridge
Mike Collins Mike has been working here since he was 16 and graduated from the Ft. Pierce Westwood Veterinary Assisting Program. He is a 2 time state chapion for HOSA(Health Occupation Students of America). Mike is now 24 and just finished a 2 year residency at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center. He has a lot of experience and you will usually find him discussing some medical terminology with the doctors.
Large Animal Technicians
Mrs. Brittney Pederson Brittney has grown up with many different animals from cats to cows! Her animal handling experience and her aboslute love for all things four legged help her fit right in. Brittney's vast experience with large animals has given her an egde as a Large Animal Technician. She enjoys showing her steer and riding horses in her off time.
Reception
Miss Lisa Watts A friendly voice at Tri County Animal Hospital since January 2002, Lisa has much compassion for all living things. Her big heart always shines through with her many foster pets. She has a degree in Marine Biology and is now working on one in Hospice Care. Currently Lisa is part of our Client Care team. |  View |

Danielle
| Danielle comes to TCAH with 2 years experience as a Client Service Representative. She is very sweet and makes each and every client feel at ease when speaking with her. She handles all grooming appointments with an excellent level of professionalism. She owns a pitbull mix named "Cuz" who loves everyone and everything he comes in contact with. |

Anastacia Ricks
| Anastacia or Anna as she prefers to be called, is currently one of our outstanding Client Service Representatives. Her expert skills have allowed her to be cross-trained as an Exam Room Technician as well. She came to TCAH with experience in small animal surgery while employed at our local shelter. She has a beautiful baby girl named Alaena who just arrived last October. |

Katherine Jasa
| Katie is a senior at Fort Pierce Westwood Highschool and is currently attending the Veterinarian Assisting Program. She has also been growing up with all kinds of animals, everything from fish to horses . She has only been working here for a few months but has already proved to be a great worker. |

Alicia
| Alicia works up in the phone room here at TCAH. You will always be able to hear her bright smile when she speaks with you. Alicia has been part of our team for almost a year now and is always able and willing to assist. She has two cats at home named Wrangler and Misfit who always keep her on her toes. Alicia also is an active member in the FFA alumni. |

| Vickie is our Wellness Plan Coordinator. She currently oversees all aspects of our Wellness Plans. Her knowledge in accounting and computers is what makes her the perfect fit for this position. She has two dogs, a cat, and 2 birds at home. |

| Lisa brought her pets in TCAH for care, and didn't want to leave! She says the atmosphere here is so friendly and compassionate, she feels right at home. Miss Iris Langhans
| Iris is a compassionate, knowledgable technician with a constant smile. She currently works as our Kennel Suprevisor She came to the US from Germany in 1999 to study customer service. Since then she has traveled the States and recently found a home right here at TCAH. She has worked with 3 day event, show horses, and hunt horses for the past 10 years. Iris has a beautiful husky mix named Penelope aka "Poopie". |

Donna's ever-cheery attitude and constantly overflowing desire to spoil your pet just like they were her own help her to become your pets best friend while they are here for their bath and groom. James Palumbo
| James has grown up volunteering his time assisting in the hospital. He assists our Inventory Manager and maintains the website. He has been a familiar face since 1992! He is currently enrolled in Westwood High School's veterinary assisting program. His long term plans include becoming a veterinarian and schooling at UF-Go Gators! We hope to see him return as one of our staff veterinarians upon graduation. | |
